With more than 30 years angling experience behind him, Steve has fished across the UK on both syndicates and day ticket waters honing his skills and being able to adapt to new challenges, having been making the trips out to europe since the late 90s he has managed to amass a very impressive record of mega carp and some absolute red letter sessions, often called Mr. Consistant Steve does work hard to stick to plan and consistantly catch carp.
Regular trips to his UK syndicate with three on the spot and baiting with a spod is where you will mostly find him along with trips to day ticket venues for tutorials and filming commitments.

I am a tournament caster and long range angler. I have enjoyed tournament casting for the last 3 years, and continue to strive to be better. I have been a long range angler for the past 10 years, mainly fishing large waters My interest was piqued when I was a teenager, as I found myself watching Mark Hutchinson as inspiration.
In the casting scene, I’m one of the Top 5 biggest casters in the UK and represent England in the world carp casting championships. I have achieved casts up to 232.97meters or 255yards.
In my tuitions, we go through all aspects of casting. This will range from finding your line diameters, to correct knots that ensure that they won’t slip or snap from shock. I like to go into detail when discussing techniques and motions through the cast that will increase distance and accuracy for the client. The main item we focus on, is to work together to get the range that the client aspires to reach on mono strait through. This is to prevent any cracking off. It is important that we are making it safe to fish at range without leaving live rigs in the water.
